In his outclass 124 runs, he hit 9 fours and 3 sixes.
India lost their 1st wicked at the score of 21 as sachin got out a very low score of 4 followed by sehwag who looked spectecular before he was caught by Hilfenhaus at 40.India lost their 3 wickets at 97, then Dhoni consolidated indian innings with the help of importantn partnership he made with Gautam Gambhir of 119 runs . After that a very important and big partnership Dhoni made with Suraish Raina of 136 runs which is the highest ever fifth wicket partnership of india against Aussies lead the score to 352, before Dhoni got out at outstanding 124. Indians were restricted to 354 for 7 in their 50 overs.
In reply the aussies seemed failed to response the indian innings. None of the batsman succeeded in a big partnership, resulting India to win their second ODI and leveling the series with 1-1
