David Shepherd Dies of Cancer

Former famous test upmire David Shephred has died due to cancer at the age of 68.
David shephred was a very well knowned test and ODI umpire. He did his umpiring jobs in 172 ODIs and 92 Test matches before he announced his retirement in 2005.
David Shephred started his umpiring carrer at the first class level in 1981 and officiated at the international matches in 1983 worldcup, from there he started his international umpiring carrer till 2005. He was one of the most popular umpires. Spectators has liked him alot due to his blunt umpiring and funny style. On the filed and off the field, he was really nice person. Some times doing serious sorts of funny acts. All these things made people his great fan.
David shephred had a great optimistic sort of influence on the game of cricket, thats why former ICC chairman called him true gentleman of game of cricket.
In his last officiated match, former westindian captain and great batsman, Brian Lara gave him a bat to which shephred was being thanked for the services, the memories and the professionalism, as a present to show a good gesture and to give a respect for whatever he has done for the game of cricket.
Above all, cricket fans will really gonna miss those spectecular umiring duties did by shephred.
He will remain in the heart of cricket lovers.
